Drawn Together

Drawn Together is an American adult animated sitcom, which ran on Comedy Central from October 27, 2004 to November 14, 2007. The series was created by Dave Jeser and Matt Silverstein, and uses a sitcom format with a TV reality show setting. Like that of MTV's The Challenge and VH1's The Surreal Life, the show's eight characters are a combination of personalities that were recognizable and familiar prior to the series. Differently, however, Drawn Together used caricatures of established cartoon characters and stock characters. In addition, their character traits parody personality types that are typically seen in reality TV shows. Comedy Central advertised it as the first animated reality show, and in some episodes, characters participate in challenges that are similar to reality TV challenges. After only three seasons the show was cancelled but still maintains a strong fan base. Subsequently, The Drawn Together Movie: The Movie! was released on April 20, 2010.

The cartoon is as obscene as 'South Park'. It is a banter over television. Especially over the reality show.

In this cartoon, all the characters are very bright and original.

Xander is the blue hero of computer games. A superhero is a dumb rocker. Foxy Love is a black-skinned detective. Pig is a complete boor. Link is a fighting monster from Asia. Clara is a princess and a racist. A sponge is a stupid annoying thing. Tutsi is a fat 'old lady' suffering from attention deficit.

The cartoon is very funny. Of course it’s full of toilet humor. But this does not spoil the experience.

Crazy Behind the Glass or Multrealities - a cartoon series of reality shows about eight cartoon characters that are parodies of famous cartoon characters. Very funny, but at the same time a rather vulgar 'masterpiece' of the animation industry. Each character is interesting in its own way and with each the most extraordinary adventures take place during the three seasons of 'Multreality'.

Ling-Ling is a vicious fighting monster from Asia, although he actually looks cute and furry. It is a parody of Pokemon Pikachu from the famous anime series 'Pokemon'.

Princess Clara - Princess of a fairy-tale country, concurrently a racist. He doesn’t understand a lot of things in his young years and has a rather creepy 'secret'. It is a parody of the Little Mermaid from the Disney cartoon.

Pig Stinky - a nasty toy downloaded from the Internet. Really disgusting type, loving to tag territories. It is a parody of the heroes of flash jokes from the Internet.

Foxy Love is a black-skinned girl detective, obsessed with sexual relations with anyone. Often - the most sane hero of the animated series.

Superhero - a stupid roll with supernatural abilities and indefinite sexual orientation (bisexual). A parody of Superman.

Tutsi is an obese and aged 50s star. Considers himself a sex symbol, although in truth it is not. A parody of Betsy Boop (in my opinion so) from old Disney cartoons.

Horseradish Sponge is a weird teenage gizmo. A very unusual character of multi-reality. Parody of SpongeBob (SpongeBob).

Xander is the absolutely blue hero of video games. A parody of the protagonist of the game 'The legend of Zelda'.

All of them are participants in the animated reality show, with whom you certainly will not be bored.

As the Simpsons once said, plagiarism is our everything. One cannot disagree with this. Without the Flintstones, there would be no Simpsons. Without the Simsons, there would be no Family Guy. Without the series "Married ... with children ..." there would be no King of the Hill. Perhaps all this is not so bad. I am an ardent fan of everything that I have just listed. But most of all I like the series called South Park. Trey Parker and Matt Stone almost did not rely on anything, although the satire idea present in The Simpsons remained the same. And they did it. "South Park" was and still remains the most popular animated series in the world. And this means that similar TV shows were not slow to pour out not television. I can’t remember everything now. And most of what I saw has, to put it mildly, dubious quality. And the series called Crazy Behind the Glass or in Multreality is no exception.

I must say that before the channel 2 * 2 became official, I did not hear about the animated series called "Multreality". Perhaps because before that it was shown on TNT at a very late time. Indeed, after watching, I realized that no channel would dare to put this creation before twelve.

Dear, how can you say that this cartoon is as obscene as South Park? Yes, after watching Multreality, South Park seems like a children's cartoon. Yes, it has black and cunning humor. The creators of Multreality took not only the idea of the South Park - banter over pop culture, but at the same time erected all the black and toilet humor into a cube. And this is exactly what affected the quality of Multreality. Not every viewer can withstand the pressure of such humor. And besides, the banter presented in the cartoon leaves much to be desired. Everything that is shown there either carries absolutely no semantic load, or has long been shown in South Park and the Simpsons. So that this animated series made me only a repulsive impression.

While typing my review, I remembered the words of Foxy Love.

    - I think that if we lived in South Park, more people would watch us.

No, Foxy. More people would watch you if your cartoon weren’t so miserable.

You get pleasure from viewing both with the included brains and those working in an autonomous mode.

All jokes ridicule politics, stereotypes, fashion, news and events taking place in the world, and life itself with all its components.

Useful cartoon for those who are too serious about life! Useful both for the prevention of tediousness and for its treatment! Take as depressions, laziness and bad mood occur.

“Crazy behind the glass” I accidentally once saw once and fell in love with this cartoon for a long time. It is full of witty, black humor and funny, comic moments in which you laugh all the time to tears.

Before us are 8 heroes. They are all very different, but they are united by the fact that they live together and try to find a common language with each other. Incredible stories happen to them all the time, they are so ridiculous and comical that you experience only positive emotions and incredible adrenaline of humor and laughter when watching.

I liked Foxy Love the most. She was the most comic hero, and it was she who had the most crowned phrases. Ling-Ling was also very funny, although he is very cruel, but there were very thoughtful and unrealistic comedic scenes with him. The rest of the characters are also cool, but I remember these two characters the most.

This mad and crazy cartoon needs to be watched by turning off the brain and get ready to get a huge portion of humor and all the most ridiculous that you can think of. I think that “Crazy Behind the Glass” is one of the most comic cartoons in the whole cinema.

This animated series for adults is a sharp satire on society, stereotypes and various kinds of propaganda. It makes fun of: reality shows, homophobia and active propaganda of homosexuality, racial discrimination and excessive tolerance, political correctness and many others. etc. Also here a huge number of parodies of cult films, popular TV shows and cartoons have been collected. The main characters themselves are vivid parodies of famous characters from different eras. The drawing of each member of the show was done with careful attention to detail and an individual approach. The animation is smooth and enjoyable. Separate words of praise deserve musical accompaniment. Songs and musical moments parodying Disney animated cartoons and other animated musicals look great.

There are several things that prevent this project from becoming an excellent entertaining animated series. The first is instability. One series may contain many funny moments, and the next will be either empty and uninteresting, or filled with sorty moronic humor. Secondly, authors often go too far with the theme of violence and forcemeat. It looks like violence for the sake of violence, and not for a comic effect. Thirdly, there are logical inconsistencies. The creators attribute this to the fact that they wanted to make the series even more funny. In fact, it turns out that this is a very controversial moment.

Summary. A good cartoon show that can entertain the viewer, but only if he is uncritical of humor on the verge of a foul. At the same time, one must be prepared for the fact that both a successful series and a very mediocre one can get caught.
